For a brief time on Thursday night, Apple Computer Inc. reportedly posted information on its Web site detailing the company's next generation computer, known as the G5. While the information has since been removed, the company wasn't quick enough as Mac enthusiasts and Web sites across the Web captured images of the pages.

The specs posted to the company's Web site list the G5 as being available in three speeds: 1.6GHz, 1.8GHz and a dual 2GHz with up to a 1GHz processor bus; up to 8GB of DDR SDRAM; Fast Serial ATA hard drives; AGP 8X Pro graphics options from Nvidia or ATI; three PCI or PCI-X expansion slots; three USB 2.0 ports; one FireWire 800 and two FireWire 400 ports; and optical and analog audio in and out.

Hey, Apple is catching up! Fastest computer on the planet! But, what I want to see is if they posted pics of the G5. I want that computer, it makes my computer look like, well, a pile of cat fieces.

P.S., who wants to guess how much that thing costs? $9,999.99

Well, also, Microsoft has killed IE for mac, as Safari is so much better, now Apple is afraid they'll kill office, and VPC, so Apple is making iWorks just in case.

well, I went a couple of days ago, and bought a lot of software, and I saw the new iPod, its SO pretty, just the old ipod, slimmer, lighter, text is bolder, and better buttons, all solid state, it is so great!

don't you just love it? I mean, what may be useless to you, (powermacintoshg4,which I HIGHLY doubt) would be very usefull to me

last day of band, it was fun. I am watching the Screen Savers, and TechLive, they really rave about Apple products, HEY, one of the guys has an old iMac under his TV and a TiBook on his coffee table. They love the new iPod, but I really like our old one.

Last night I had a HUGE party, dancing, staying up late etc.
I also played in a band, and it felt good to get it over with.

Well, turns out, my quickcam is B&W! No longer will I have drivers for it!
